Privacy
Your address is not a profile.
We use only the data needed to answer your search. There are no accounts, ads, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics.
What is processed
- Commune, street, and number when you search. The API does not associate them with an account, cookie, or personal identifier.
- Coordinates only when you choose “Use my location”. They are used transiently to approximate the commune, street, and number through OpenStreetMap.
- Language and theme are stored only in your browser's local storage.
- Searches are counted by day and result type, and referral-link clicks by day and destination. Always as totals: without IP, user agent, cookie, or individual log.
External services
The map is served by Google Maps and loads automatically once an address is found, without you pressing anything. Google receives the usual technical request data such as IP and referrer, and may set its own cookies; when we do not hold the exact coordinate, it also receives the address you searched. Approximate commune and street lookup uses OpenStreetMap. External links follow the destination's policy.
Retention
Validated postal results may be retained as reusable address data, including the address's coordinate, which we obtain from OpenStreetMap using the text you searched. Your geolocation coordinates are not stored in the database and the site never sends them to be stored: the API accepts no coordinates from callers. We do not maintain per-visitor histories.
Your control
You can search by commune only, deny location permission, and clear local storage in your browser settings. The main lookup will keep working.
